on display at
NAMM 2019, Booth 6410, Hall C

Anaheim, CA (January 24, 2019) Hartke, an industry leader in bass amplification, introduces the XL Series V2 Bass Cabinets at NAMM 2019, commemorating 35 years of the “Hartke Sound” and the original aluminum-cone cabinet, hand-built by Larry Hartke. The XL Series V2 will house Hartke’s classic all-aluminum speaker design inside a more durable, modern-looking cabinet enclosure, while delivering bass tone with broad dynamics.

Two New XL ModelsThe XL V2 cabinet line is being introduced with 2×10 and 4×10 models. The 210XL V2 features a single-chamber, sealed cabinet design with two 10″ XL speakers for handling 200 watts of power at 8 ohms. The 410XL V2 is a tuned dual-chamber, dual-ported cabinet with four 10″ XL speakers that offer 400 watts of power handling at 8 ohms. Dual parallel 1/4″ inputs are provided on both models.

Tried and True Design
The new XL Series V2 Bass Cabinets feature Hartke’s classic all-aluminum speaker design. Each proprietary XL low frequency driver features a high-quality aluminum cone with a large 1.5” voice coil on a Kapton® former, impregnated fabric surrounds and a convex dust cover, all mounted in a heavy-duty steel frame. And just like the original in 1984, a smooth response with a clear, punchy attack forms the foundation of remarkable tone that’s perfect for any style of playing.

A New Look for A New Generation
While delivering the same great “Hartke Sound” in spades, the new XL Series V2 Bass Cabinets offer a new look for a new generation of bass players. Their solid 3/4” plywood enclosures are no longer dressed in black carpet and instead feature a textured vinyl covering that is more modern-looking and durable. Black perforated steel grilles add to an already strong, sleek look, while reinforced corners and inset carry handles (210XL V2: one handle, 410XL V2: two handles) scream “Road-ready!”
