Bensalem, PA – New for 2024, Ibanez has introduced two new AE models as part of their new AE Performer series. The Performer series concept is to offer an instrument with high-end looks and features at an extremely player friendly price point. The AE390, the flagship model of this series, is fully equipped with every feature needed to maximize the acoustic and aesthetic potential of the instrument. A solid German Spruce top rests atop a Flamed maple back and sides. The Maple neck features a comfort round grip for easy playability, and it’s paired with a Rosewood fretboard adorned with Abalone/Maple block inlays. Other noteworthy features include X-M bracing, jumbo frets, Ibanez’s new A.I.R. Port acoustic monitoring system, and an Aqua Blue High Gloss finish on the back and sides. The second AE Performer model is the AE340. This guitar also features a solid Flamed Okoume top, Flamed Okoume back and sides, and a Rosewood fretboard with Abalone/Maple inlays. It also has Ibanez electronics, jumbo frets, XM bracing, and the new A.I.R. Port system. Both guitars deliver features and quality that land well above their respective price points, making for an excellent value in any situation that calls for a quality, pro-level acoustic.
